Features and Design
Razer explained that the Razer DeathStalker V2 Pro Tenkeyless features a low-profile and minimalist design with a Low-Profile Optical Switch. Infrared lights support this Switch to register every key press and promise no delay, making it more responsive.
Razer’s Optical Low-Profile Switch has two options: Linear and Clicky. The first type is said to have 1.2 mm actuation points with a total distance of 2.8 mm and a pressing weight of only 45 grams. At the same time, the clicky variant has an actuation point of 1.5 mm, with a tactile interchange, a full range of 2.8mm, and a pressing weight of 50 grams.
This keyboard uses a thin aluminum layer but is claimed to have long-term durability. The keycaps are laser engraved with a coating claimed to be durable, even compared to PBT double shots. At the same time, the Switch has been tested to an industry standard of 70 million presses. According to Razer, the Low-Profile Optical Switch allows for a slim design and each key to be located lower on the keyboard base for a more natural hand and arm position.
