Logitech G915 TKL keyboard Review
Logitech G915 TKL Software, Driver Update, Manual Guide – Logitech has the latest model from its flagship gaming keyboard series. This time, called the G915 TKL, Logitech offers a slimmer tenkeyless design because it no longer has a Numpad. Not only that, compared to its previously released predecessor, the Logitech G915 TKL is sold at a lower price. G915 TKL is the Keyboard for gamers who want aesthetics.
“Since the launch of the Logitech G915, the (gamer) community has consistently asked for the same technology in a sleeker, tenkeyless design. The G915 TKL combines Lightspeed Wireless, RGB Lighting, and long battery life in a slim, slim design that will set a new standard for gaming keyboards,” said Ujesh Desai VP and GM of Logitech Gaming.
Keyboard Design
The Logitech G915 is available in 2 versions: the full-size and tenkeyless (TKL) design G915. This time we are reviewing the TKL version, which removes the number pad that usually occupies the right side of the Keyboard. TKL keyboards have become more popular over the last few years, for example, the Corsair K70 RGB TKL.
The Logitech G915 TKL is designed as a cheaper version of the G915 Lightspeed. Its more minimalist body is also more suitable for gamers with limited desk space. The dimensions of this Keyboard are 47.5 x 36.8 cm, much smaller than the G915 Lightspeed.
The sleek design makes this Keyboard feel much smaller than it is. The design of the TKL G915 is very standard but beautiful. The Keyboard is made of brushed-looking aluminum slabs. The G915 TKL looks better than boards like the Razer BlackWidow V3 Mini.
G915 TKL Features
Several features have been trimmed to make the selling value more affordable. In addition to no Numpad or G-keys on the left side, the Logitech G915 TKL is designed as a wireless keyboard with reliable battery life. Logitech claims that if the RGB lights are on 100 percent, the battery can last up to 40 hours. But if you turn off RGB, this Keyboard can be used for up to 135 days.
The Logitech G915 TKL is a low-profile gaming keyboard with mechanical switches. The G915 TKL still packs a row of multimedia buttons and volume knobs. Its advantages are also maintained: a low-profile mechanical switch offers 25% faster actuation.
Three switch options are available: GL Linear, GL Tactile, and GL Clicky. In addition, this Keyboard supports charging via the micro-USB port. The Logitech G915 TKL can be connected to a PC via a USB Type-A dongle or Bluetooth.
Price
In the United States, the Logitech G915 TKL currently retails for $230, aka $20 cheaper than the standard version and $30 more expensive than the G815, which is the non-wireless version of the standard G915.
