Logitech G635 Headset Review
Logitech G635 Software, Latest Drivers, Manual Guide Download – The Logitech G635 Artemis Spectrum is one of Logitech’s High Tier Gaming Headsets. This headset has a sibling, which distinguishes them only in Wired connectivity, while the other variant, the Logitech G935, is Wireless and is much more expensive than the G635. Want to know more? Let’s dig into this review of the Logitech G635 Lightsync Gaming Headset.
Logitech G635 Design
The Logitech G635 Artemis Spectrum is designed to provide gamers with a “Gaming” style. The Big Earcup Shape covers all the Ears, equipped with RGB Lights on the Back of the Earcup, And the Macro Buttons whose Shapes are attractive and not monotonous. Then there is also a very “Gaming” Design Shape on the Earcup Back Skin and the head.
This headset also has the 2015 Logitech Gaming “G” Logo (now it’s different), which adds to the confidence of gamers that this is a Gaming Headset. It is also equipped with RGB with 10 thousand color customization, with color Style settings from Cycle and Breathing Effects. This headset is complete from its Lightning form and equipment!
Features and Performance
This headset is equipped with DTS X 2.0, the latest DTS series when these headphones were released. If for FPS gaming and watching movies, we recommend that this feature be turned on so that the sound produced is wider, but of course, the bass equalizer is slightly increased to make it more ‘boom.’
This headset has three small buttons on the left earcup to set several functions we can customize through the Logitech G Hub software. Also equipped with volume control buttons and a mic-mute. But that can only be managed if you plug in this headset with its USB cable. This headset can use a USB cable and 3.5mm audio jack, is quite flexible in compatibility, and can be PC and smartphone. But to use all the full features in this headset can only be obtained using the USB cable.
The mic already carries ‘flip-to-mute’ technology, so by folding the mic up, the mic will automatically mute. And the cool thing about this headset is that when we fold the mic, the mic will become invisible because there is a gap in the left earcup for a place to hide the mic.
The microphone on the G635 is very clear! The mic can stop unwanted noise, so when chatting with friends and around you a little noise, your friends may not hear the noise. This headset is also equipped with a macro button. The macro on the headset is not important, but for those who like shortcuts, you can use the macro on this headset to the fullest, for example, screenshots, recording, and others.
The drawback of the Logitech G635 is the absence of a Noise isolation feature. This headset does not have ANC and the like, only passive noise isolation. But because this is an over-ear headset, we think it’s still good enough at isolating outside sound so it doesn’t enter our ears, but of course, the sound from our headset will still leak out even a little.
