Success with the G502 gaming mouse, Logitech launched a wireless version of the G502 named Logitech G502 Lightspeed, which is equipped with a Hero 16K sensor.
Mouse Design
The design is no different from its predecessor, equipped with 11 buttons, including programmable macro buttons. The Logitech G502 Lightspeed weighs 114 grams and can be adjusted by adding a weight plate at the bottom up to 130 grams.
Features and Performance
The Logitech G502 Lightspeed uses a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M-based SoC that delivers a 1ms USB polling rate. The SoC combines the latest Hero sensor, tracking movement up to 16,000 DPI.
Logitech states that the SoC and sensors used can adapt to the base surface used on various base surfaces. Using Logitech’s Lightspeed wireless, this mouse can increase the polling rate of the USB wireless receiver by up to 1 ms, minimizing input lag.
G502 Lightspeed is also equipped with a wireless charging feature with existing Logitech PowerPlay wireless magnetic charging technology. According to Logitech, the battery in this mouse can last up to 800 recharges without being degraded, as PowerPlay keeps the battery between 85% and 95%.
