Logitech G Pro keyboard Review
Logitech G Pro Keyboard Software, Driver Update & Manual Guide – The Logitech G Pro is a mechanical keyboard aimed at “eSports athletes”. But it’s also one of the best models to buy if you want a portable mechanical keyboard that doesn’t take up much space. While it doesn’t have a NUM pad or a dedicated set of macro keys, the Logitech G Pro’s key feel is excellent, and the quality of its RGB backlighting is second to none. But at a reasonably high price for a wired gaming keyboard, is the Logitech G Pro worth buying?
keyboard Design
The Logitech G Pro is a “Tenless” keyboard. It means it has no NUM bearing, so the footprint is much smaller than full size. Talking about esports might make you think the Logitech G Pro is specifically for a pro gamer to play in tournaments, but there are other potential benefits to a smaller keyboard like this.
To work? You can use Logitech G Pro on an Ergotron WorkFit standing desk. It has a keyboard tray that can barely fit other similar keyboards in its class, like the SteelSeries Aper M800. The small keyboard is convenient when you’re not dealing with a full-size desk. However, there is no palm rest. The keyboard tip suddenly. But you can adjust it at three angles for convenience: flat or at an angle of 4/8 degrees up.
The Logitech G Pro is also a great-looking keyboard. The surrounding is made of matt plastic, but there is no flex. And the inside of the keyboard is mounted on a steel plate. And the key font has a slightly bolder, more aggressive character.
G Pro keyboard Features
The placement of LED lights is one of the best reasons to stick with Logitech. There are RGB LEDs under each button, and the lid’s design minimizes light spillage between the buttons, keeping colors translucent. RGB gaming hardware doesn’t always look classy. The Logitech G Pro does it. You can also turn the backlight on and off by pressing the button in the upper right corner.
Incredible RGB customization. With the G HUB software, you can adjust the lights however you want. Choose a different color for each button, or experiment with animated color transitions. It makes you very creative. You can also choose the animation speed.
The G HUB software also lets you manage macros. G Pro uses the F key as a macro command. The macro commands can be manually tapped in the order of keystrokes. You can use them to launch applications or perform actions such as muting the start screen or microphone recording. Logitech fits a lot of customization into any keyless keyboard made for the job. There is also a Game Mode. The Game Mode button is next to the backlight button.
Conclusion and Price
The Logitech G Pro is an excellent keyboard for anyone who doesn’t mind not using Cherry MX series switches. It retails for $99.99. The feel isn’t too far from the MX Blue keyboard, with a clicky-clack key feel and sound.
It feels fast, is great for typing, and some elements (specifically for this keyboard and Logitech boards in general) are outstanding. Tenless’s smaller design is better if the keyboard won’t be spending its life on one large desk, and the G Pro’s display and backlight adjustments are incredible.
